Meet Your Trainer

Welcome to Packwise Dog Training and Boarding! My name is Kassidy Bertelsen and I am setting out on a journey to help people, like you, build strong relationships with their beloved dogs through my proven communication based training methods. I quickly realized from a young age that I was going to center my life and career around our canine companions. During my time in college, I got connected with a service dog training organization called Handi-Dogs Inc. who I worked with and trained through for three years. Having that experience with Handi-Dogs inspired me to dedicate my life to learning all about the canine mind and training both dogs, and their owners, in order to build a relationship with one another. After graduating from the University of Arizona with my degree in Business, I continued my education studying Canine Psychology at the world-renowned CATCH Canine Academy. For the last decade I have dedicated my life to dog training with a specialization in behavioral modification including aggression, reactivity, fear, and anxiety. My communication based training methods have proven that long-lasting obedience and the best training results occur when we take the time to understand how the canine mind works, learns, and processes information. I am so excited that you are interested in taking the next steps to creating a strong bond and mutual trust with your dog, and I can't wait to help guide you though every part of this adventure.
